Here is beautiful choice uncirculated example of what many collectors consider the most beautiful coin ever produced by the U.S. Mint. This 1927 $20 Gold St. Gaudens Double Eagle has been graded MS63 by PCGS and is encapsulated in an old green label holder which is approximately twenty-five years old. The coin has also been certified by CAC as being solid for the assigned grade. The coin exhibits bright and appealing gold color and strong cartwheel luster on both sides. Some light marks can be found on the high points of the design and a few minimal marks in the fields, but the overall look of the coin is much better than the assigned grade suggests. An amazing and beautiful example of the St. Gaudens $20 Double Eagle.
