This 1918 France One Franc has been graded MS62 by PCGS and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. This silver coin features the popular “Sower” design which likely inspired the design of the United States Walking Liberty Half Dollar and the United States Silver Eagle. The uncirculated coin is lightly toned, particularly along the rim with a light golden color. The coin does have nice mint luster, but also has a slightly dirty look to it which may have limited the assigned grade somewhat. Some light marks are present on each side, but none are major. A nice uncirculated example of this popular French design. |
