This 1927-D Mercury Dime has been graded AU53 by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. This coin was part of a complete collection of Mercury Dimes that was put together by a long-time collector of the series. The entire set of dimes was housed in an album and was recently graded by PCGS. This lightly circulated dime is mostly untoned with an even light grey color on both sides. The coin retains plenty of its original mint luster, but there are several light hairlines on each side which seemingly limited the numerical grade. An overall nice example for the grade.
