This 1924-D Mercury Dime has been graded AU58 by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. This coin was part of a complete collection of Mercury Dimes that was put together by a long-time collector of the series. The entire set of dimes was housed in an album and was recently graded by PCGS. The coin is untoned and has strong mint luster. The coin shows just a hint of circulation and is a very well struck specimen. A perfect example of the date for any collector participating in the PCGS “Everyman” category of the PCGS Set Registry in which mint state coins are not permitted.
