This 1990 $10 Gold 1/4 oz. Eagle has been graded MS69 by PCGS and is encapsulated in an old green label holder which is approximately twenty years old. This better date quarter-ounce gold eagle has toned over the years to a beautiful deeper gold color that is quite attractive. A subtle hint of additional color is found along the reverse rim and the luster of the piece is excellent. No significant issues are evident when viewing this piece in hand as the overall eye appeal dominates. Please note there are some light scratches in the plastic holder that show in the photos but are not on the coin itself. A really nice example of the date.
