This 1884-O Morgan Silver Dollar has been graded MS63 by NGC and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin has also been holdered with the reverse facing front to show off the beautiful and colorful toning that is found across the entire reverse of the coin. The reverse color is a bright golden color in the lower left that transitions to vibrant purple, blue and green color and then to lilac and pink colors towards the upper right. The coin has strong original mint luster that cartwheels around both sides of the coin and really helps to make that reverse color pop. The obverse of the coin is mostly untoned with just a touch of golden orange color at the rims. As the grade would suggest, the coin has several marks and hits mostly focused on the high points of the obverse, but nothing too major and all appropriate for the assigned grade. Overall, this is an attractively toned eye appealing example of the Morgan Dollar. |
