Here is a spectacular gem uncirculated version of what many collectors consider the most beautiful coin ever produced by the U.S. Mint. This 1911-D $20 Gold St. Gaudens Double Eagle has been graded MS65 by PCGS. The coin has wonderful bright even gold color and plenty of amazing cartwheel luster on both sides. There are some minimal marks scattered about the coin, but none distract from the overall beauty of the coin. There is also a bit of faint, colorful toning along the rim, particularly at the lower reverse that can be seen under magnification. An eye appealing gem St. Gaudens $20 Double Eagle.
