1947 Panama Balboa ANACS MS63 |

 |
This 1947 Panama Balboa has been graded MS63 by ANACS. This wonderfully designed silver coin from Panama is a relatively common issue with a total mintage of 500,000 pieces. However, it is not common to find an example with such amazing overall eye appeal as the present specimen. This coin is fully toned on both sides with attractive rainbow color. The coin also has strong original luster which cartwheels around the surfaces when turned under a light. There are a few light marks on the coin and a series of notable light scratches in the field just off the nose of the armored figure on the reverse of the coin which seemingly have limited the grade of this beautiful piece. An amazing and especially eye appealing example of the Panama Balboa. |
