Mexican 2.5 Pesos gold coins are popular small gold coins that are often available in large quantities. Most examples that you will find will be 1945 dated coins which are often restrikes struck in later years. In contrast, the 1944 dated 2.5 Pesos Mexico gold coin has a relatively low mintage of only 20,000 coins. This example of the 1944-Mo Mexico 2.5 Pesos Gold has been graded MS67 by ANACS. The coin is composed of .900 fine gold and contains .0603 oz. of actual gold weight. This is the only example graded MS67 by ANACS with no examples grading finer. The piece is well struck and free of any significant marks or hits. A small toning spot near the rim on the left obverse is the only noticeable issue. A wonderful top pop example of this low mintage small Mexican gold piece.
