1883 Hawaii Silver Dollar ANACS XF40 |

In 1883, the United States Mint struck silver coinage for the Kingdom of Hawaii. The coins were designed by Charles Barber and were struck at the San Francisco Mint. Here is an 1883 Hawaii Kalakaua Akahi Dala Silver Dollar which has been graded EF40 by ANACS and is encapsulated in the older small white ANACS holder from many years ago. The coin shows moderate circulation wear and has toned to a medium gray color on both sides. All of the elements of the detailed design remain clear. An overall pleasing circulated example of the 1883 Hawaii Silver Dollar. |
