Here is an 1851 Jacob Seeger Merchant Token from Baltimore Maryland which has been graded MS62 by NGC and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. This token is attributed as M-MD-150A as referenced on the label. An impressive piece made of silvered copper featuring a detailed eagle with shield design surrounded by rays and stars. The piece retains a good amount of luster and there are some interesting die cracks too. Given that Seeger was in the silver plating business, the silvered copper version of this token is the preferred example. This example is currently the finest example top pop graded by NGC with none grading higher.
