1884 Grover Cleveland Campaign Token DeWitt GC-1884-11 NGC MS63PL		SOLD

This (1884) Grover Cleveland Campaign Token has been graded MS63PL by NGC and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. The token is cataloged as DeWitt-GC-1884-11 and was produced for Cleveland’s campaign in the election of 1884. Cleveland won that election over James G. Blaine in a very close contest. The token has very interesting designs with the buffalo on one side and the snake on the other. There are strong-prooflike fields and frosty devices on each side that make for an overall eye appealing piece. This is the only example which has graded MS63PL at NGC with a single piece that grades higher.
