This 1964 Lincoln Cent Error Coin has been graded MS64RB by NGC and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin was struck on a defective planchet in which the lower left portion of the metal was broken away. This error is denoted on the NGC label as well as the 2.8 gram weight of the piece. This is an interesting error with excellent eye appeal. The coin is otherwise well struck and the details show nicely. Some original mint red color remains on the uncirculated piece. A pleasing mint state Lincoln Cent minting error that is fun to display.
Because of the difficulty in capturing the overall look of the coin in a single image, I have also included a short high-definition video of the coin towards the bottom of this listing in an attempt to give you a better idea of what this coin will look like in hand. Please note that you may need to adjust the video quality to 1080p and may need to increase the size of the video to full screen in order to see the coin in maximum detail. |
