Here is a wonderfully toned 1885-O Morgan Silver Dollar which
has been graded MS64 by PCGS and is encapsulated in an old green label holder which is approximately twenty years old. Nearly two-thirds of the obverse of this coin is covered in colorful toning that is not quite fully captured in the images provided as the colors are more vibrant in hand, particularly the green color. Most of the colors of the rainbow are present from a touch of deep blue at the lower rim which transitions to red, then orange, then yellow then to a light green. The reverse of the coin is bright white and lustrous. There are some light hits and marks on both sides of the coin which are consistent with the assigned grade. A very light fingerprint at the top of the obverse is the only minor distraction
of note. An overall eye appealing toned Morgan Dollar in a collectible old PCGS holder. |
