Here is a 1921 Buffalo Nickel which has been graded MS64 by NGC and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. Both sides of this nickel are beautifully and fully toned with rainbow color. Unfortunately, the images I have taken of this piece do not fully capture the impressive color and eye appeal. If you like the look even a little from the photos, you will absolutely love it in hand. The coin is very well struck and shows some clashing marks in the fields on both sides. The piece has the look of a coin grading a couple points higher, but the grade was likely limited due to a mark on the obverse which runs from the lower lip to the chin. A beautifully toned Buffalo Nickel with lots of original luster too. |
