1934 Cuba Star Type Peso NGC MS61 |

This 1934 Cuba Star Type Silver Peso has been graded MS61 by NGC and is encapsulated in a newer-style edge-view holder. The star type Cuba peso was designed by Charles E. Barber and was struck by the United States Mint in Philadelphia on silver dollar planchets. The coin is bright white in color and has excellent cartwheel luster. There are several small hits and handling marks scattered about and a couple of larger hits on the star, accounting for the relatively low mint state grade. The piece has no evident wear and is a decent and flashy mint state example of the type. |
