This 1901 Indian Head Cent has been graded MS64BN by NGC and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin has a few tiny hits scattered about, but no major issues. The coin has strong eye appeal as it has decent overall luster and really nice color that isn’t fully described by the BN (brown) color designation. The obverse is a deep purple-brown color that seems to have traces of deep green mixed in at some areas too. The reverse is more colorful with brighter purple, red, pink and orange colors present. A very pretty near-gem Indian Cent. |
