1887 Indian Head Cent NGC MS63BN		SOLD

This 1887 Indian Head Cent has been graded MS63BN by NGC and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin has some light marks and hits scattered about, but it’s hard to see why the coin didn’t grade at least a point higher. The eye appeal of the coin is very strong as it has nice luster and wonderful color that is not given justice by the BN (brown) designation. The piece has a wonderful red-purple toning that brightens to more of a red-orange color near some of the more protected areas. I can’t imagine finding a nicer overall example in this grade as this coin is very pretty, much nicer than the photos show.
