This 1958-D Franklin Half Dollar has been graded MS67 by PCGS and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. A TrueView photo was taken by PCGS which captures the beauty of this coin in the best light.. This is an amazing superb gem high-grade example of this silver Franklin Half. The eye appeal of this coin with the fully toned colorful rainbow obverse is very impressive in hand with plenty of pink, red and even some vibrant green colors. The reverse shows a beautiful band of rainbow color along the rim, particularly along the lower right of the reverse. The original Mint luster of the coin is also quite strong and attractive. A total of forty-eight (48) examples of this date have earned the MS67 grade from PCGS with no examples grading higher. Please note there are some examples of the date with the full bell line designation that do have higher numerical grades. This coin is well struck, but falls just short of earning the full bell line designation. An amazing toned Franklin Half Dollar with stunning eye appeal. |
