| Because of its extremely small size, at only 10mm in diameter, the 1904 Panama 2.5 Centesimos silver coin is commonly referred to as the “Panama Pill” by collectors. These tiny coins, which were struck at the United States Mint and only issued in 1904, have been popular since their time of issue and remain popular type coins today. This example of the 1904 Panama 2.5 Centesimos has been graded MS66 by NGC and is encapsulated in a newer-style edge-view holder. The coin is bright white, lustrous and exhibits no significant marks or hits. To date, NGC has certified ten (10) examples at the MS66 grade with no examples grading higher.
