Here is a 1964-D Silver Kennedy Half Dollar that has been graded MS64 by NGC and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. The coin is bright and lustrous with attractive rim toning on both sides. Bands of rainbow color are found around each side of the coin, but are more intense on the reverse of the coin. Some light marks across Kennedy’s cheek and neck are of note and likely kept the coin from grading slightly higher. A beautifully toned first year Kennedy half dollar.
