Here is an 1883-CC Morgan Silver Dollar which has been graded MS63 by PCGS and is encapsulated in the larger style PCGS holder which surrounds the original GSA Hoard black holder. A TrueView photo was taken by PCGS which captures the beauty of this coin in the best light.. The coin has great eye appeal with nice mint luster and colorful toning that completely covers the reverse of the coin. The reverse toning is mostly blue and red colors with a lighter area in the center that gives the coin an appealing red, white and blue appearance. The obverse of the coin is mostly untoned and there are several hits and marks scattered about which limited the grade to MS63. A beautifully and colorfully toned example of a Carson City Morgan Silver Dollar in the original GSA Hoard holder.
Because of the difficulty in capturing the overall look of the coin in a single image, I have also included a short high-definition video of the coin towards the bottom of this listing in an attempt to give you a better idea of what this coin will look like in hand. Please note that you may need to adjust the video quality to 1080p and may need to increase the size of the video to full screen in order to see the coin in maximum detail. |
