Here is a 1923-S Peace Silver Dollar which has been graded AU55 by NGC and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. Despite the circulated grade, this coin has good luster and attractive rim toning on both sides. Some light circulation wear is obvious on both sides, but the bands of rainbow rim toning on each side of the coin are quite attractive. Please note the NGC holder is cracked in a couple of areas on the reverse of the slab as you can see in the photos, but the holder itself appears to be strong and should stay intact as long as you don’t get crazy with it. A lightly circulated Peace Dollar with rainbow toning. |
