1919 China Republic 20 Cash Y-308 PCGS MS63BN		SOLD

This 1919 China Republic 20 Cash has been graded MS63BN by PCGS and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. The coin is cataloged as Y-308. The coin has very nice original mint luster remaining and is free of significant marks, spots or other issues. Parts of the coin appear to have a slightly weak strike which is typical of the issue and may have limited the numerical grade assigned to the coin. The coin is a wonderful medium to dark chocolate brown color that is very consistent on both sides. Only a couple of examples have graded higher at PCGS, a single MS63+BN coin and a single MS64BN coin. There are also two (2) coins graded MS63RB by PCGS with none grading higher. Additionally, an example of this coin graded NGC MS62BN sold in a Stacks Bowers auction in 2013 for $764. An eye appealing mint state example of this popular type.
