Here is a 1923 Peace Silver Dollar which has been graded MS65 by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin has also been certified by CAC as being solid for the assigned grade. Although the coin appears somewhat dark in the photos, in hand the piece is somewhat lighter and under good lighting the toning is much more vibrant. The coin is mostly a medium grey color that is somewhat thick and mutes some of the luster. But along the rims in particular, the coin is much brighter with vibrant colors covering most of the colors of the rainbow present on both sides. There are no major marks, hits or spotting of note. A beautiful gem Peace Dollar with colorful toning not often found on this type. |
