Here is an 1883-CC Morgan Silver Dollar which has been graded MS63 by PCGS and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. The PCGS label indicates the coin was part of the GSA Hoard, but as you can see the coin was freed from the original GSA black holder and is now in a PCGS slab. The coin is not your typical bright white Carson City Silver Dollar, but instead is toned a very attractive medium gold color on both sides. The coin also has nice cartwheel luster which is somewhat hidden in the photos. There are several small marks on the obverse of the coin and a few on the reverse too, including one larger hit on the eagle’s breast, yet the coin still appears to be a strong example for the assigned grade.
