This China Kwangtung 20 Cents minted between 1909 and 1911 has been graded MS63 by PCGS and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. The coin is cataloged as Y-205 and LM-139. According to the Krause reference, the inscription reads “Hsüan-t'ung Yüan-pao.” The coin is almost completely untoned and has excellent mint luster. The details of the coin are also very strong with an amazing and very popular dragon design. The coin has just a few hits and marks on the open areas of the reverse that seem to have limited the grade of the piece. The coin was also professionally imaged by PCGS for their CoinFacts service. A decent choice mint state example of the type. |
