Here is a 1906-O Barber Quarter which has been graded MS64 by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin is bright and lustrous with a decent overall strike showing just a touch of weakness in the upper right corner of the shield on the reverse. The bright white coin has lovely golden and light pink toning around the rims on both sides which is very eye appealing. A couple of very light scratches and hits on Liberty’s cheek and a couple others scattered around the coin likely prevent the gem grade. An overall very pretty near-gem New Orleans Barber Quarter that is about as good as it gets for the grade.
