1851-O Three Cent Silver PCGS AU55 |

This 1851-O Three Cent Silver has been graded AU55 by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The 1851-O trime is a very popular date as it is the only three cent silver piece from one of the branch mints and therefore is the only one that has a mint mark. The coin is mostly untoned and lustrous, except for a darker area of toning in the center of the obverse. There are many small marks on both sides of the coin and even some light scratches are present, likely keeping the coin from a higher grade. A decent AU example of the popular New Orleans minted trime. |
