Here is a 1945-D Washington Quarter that has been graded MS66+ by PCGS and is encapsulated in a newer-style edge-view holder. The coin is bright and very lustrous and has relatively few marks as the grade suggests. There is also a small amount of colorful toning focused along the rim. Although MS67 examples are out there, there are not many of them and if you find one they can cost over a thousand dollars. Here you have the opportunity to obtain a coin graded one-half point lower for a fraction of the expense.
