| Here is great looking 1856 Large Cent. This 1856 Upright 5 Large Cent has been graded MS64BN by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of their newer-style edge-view holders. The coin has also been certified by CAC as being solid for the assigned grade. The coin is a wonderful medium chocolate brown color that exhibits decent original mint luster as well. There are no significant hits, marks, spotting or other distractions of note. A couple of very minor planchet depressions, not apparent in the photos, are present near the ON of ONE on the reverse, but they do not distract or take away from the overall eye appeal of this piece. This coin would be a wonderful example for any date set of large cents or any high-end type set. |
