The 1932-S Washington Quarter has the lowest mintage of any quarter in the entire series and is accordingly one of the big key-dates in the series. Additionally, being a coin from the first year of issue furthers its popularity. This example of the 1932-S Washington Quarter has been graded AU58 by PCGS and is encapsulated in the newer-style edge-view holder. The coin is a great example of the grade as it appears to be a nice original mint state coin at first look, but just a touch of rub on the eagle's breast on the reverse technically limits the grade to AU58. This coin has nice luster and light toning which is slightly spotty at parts, but not overly distracting. The coin is free of major marks or hits and is a nice example of this popular key date Washington Quarter.
