| This 1882 Proof Shield Nickel has been graded PR66+ by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. This nickel has beautiful toning on both sides around the rims which is very eye appealing. The coin is very flashy as well with strong mirrors and no major distractions. The coin was also professionally imaged by PCGS for their CoinFacts service and the photo wonderfully captures the beauty of this coin in the best light. The photos of the coin show it well, but the included video of the coin does an even better job. The close up CoinFacts photo shows some microscopic spotting on the coin which is almost completely unnoticeable in hand. A very beautiful overall high-grade proof example of the Shield Nickel.
