1903 US-Philippines Half Centavo PCGS PR65+RB SOLD
Only 2,558 proof U.S.-Philippines half centavos were struck by the Philadelphia Mint in 1903. This example of the 1903 U.S.-Philippines Proof Half Centavo is graded PR65+RB by PCGS and is encapsulated in a newer-style edge-view holder. A TrueView photo was taken by PCGS which captures the beauty of this coin in the best light. Higher resolution copies of the image are available on the PCGS website. This is the only example graded PR65+RB by PCGS with only nine (9) red-brown coins grading higher, seven (7) coins graded PR66RB and two (2) coins grading PR67RB. The coin exhibits very attractive rainbow toning on both sides as shown in the TrueView photo. In addition, the coin has very strong proof mirrored fields which really make the colorful toning pop, even more so that shown in the photos. There are no hits, marks or spotting of note that would preclude a higher grade. An overall awesome example of the type with tons of eye appeal.

Because of the difficulty in capturing the overall look of the coin in a single image, I have also included a short high-definition video of the coin towards the bottom of this listing in an attempt to give you a better idea of what this coin will look like in hand. Please note that you may need to adjust the video quality to 1080p and may need to increase the size of the video to full screen in order to see the coin in maximum detail.
