Here is a 1964 Japan Olympics 1000 Yen which has been graded MS66 by NGC. Japan issued this silver commemorative coin to celebrate the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. The coin has a beautiful design featuring Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms. Although a relatively common coin, they are seldom found like the example here with attractive toning on both sides. Colorful toning covers both sides of the coin and the mint luster is very strong as well. A wonderful high-grade example of the type.
