Here is a 1876-D German States Bavaria Silver 5 Mark which has been graded MS64 by PCGS. A TrueView photo was taken by PCGS which captures the beauty of this coin in the best light. This large silver coin was minted at the Munch Mint and features the obverse portrait of Ludwig II. The reverse eagle design is well struck and has strong detail. The coin is quite lustrous for the type and has moderate toning on both sides. Just a few light hits on the surfaces may have prevented a gem grade. Only three (3) examples have graded higher at PCGS, a single coin grading MS64+ and two (2) coins grading MS65. An attractive high grade example.
