1907 Great Britain 2 Pence Maundy PCGS PL68
It has been the tradition for several centuries for the United Kingdom's monarch to distribute Maundy Money each year to selected elderly. This 1907 Great Britain 2 Pence Maundy has been graded PL68 by PCGS and is encapsulated in a newer-style edge-view holder. The eye appealing coin has nice prooflike surfaces with a very attractive light toning that covers both sides. The coin has a strong strike and appears to be virtually perfect in hand (as the high grade suggests) with just a few tiny marks in the reverse fields that only show under magnification. This piece has superb eye appeal and it would be difficult to find a nicer overall example.
