This attractively toned one ounce .999 fine 1999 Silver Eagle has been graded MS67 by PCGS. Colorfully toned Silver Eagles can be found as pure silver is quite susceptible to toning. However, finding an example with eye appealing color on both sides of the coin is more difficult. The example here has wonderful pastel colors that cover most of each side in a target like toning pattern. Just the very center of each side of the coin remain untoned, with the remainder of the surfaces covered in bands of green, blue, pink and golden bands of color. Just a couple of darker areas of toning on the obverse keep the coin from a perfect overall look. A very pretty overall example of the popular Silver Eagle. |
