| This 1913 $5 Indian Gold Half Eagle has been graded MS62+ by PCGS and is encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin has also been certified by CAC as being solid for the assigned grade. The coin exhibits very nice even gold color with strong mint luster. There are several marks and scratches in the fields which show up under magnification and which seem appropriate for the MS62 grade. But when viewed in hand the coin has the general appearance of a coin that grades a point or two higher and is likely why the coin received the plus designation from PCGS. A very flashy Indian Half Eagle for the money. |
