This 1796 Draped Bust Silver Dollar with the Small Eagle Reverse and of the Small Date, Large Letters variety has been graded VF20 by PCGS. This is a terrific and impressive early silver dollar with an original look. The moderately circulated dollar has even wear that is consistent with the assigned grade. The piece is free of any significant issues of note and is an excellent specimen for the grade. The color of the coin is a medium grey that deepens slightly towards the rims and has hints of blue color when tilted into direct light. A wonderful overall example of the type.
Because of the difficulty in capturing the overall look of the coin in a single image, I have also included a short high-definition video of the coin towards the bottom of this listing in an attempt to give you a better idea of what this coin will look like in hand. Please note that you may need to adjust the video quality to 1080p and may need to increase the size of the video to full screen in order to see the coin in maximum detail.
