1903 Louisiana Purchase Expo Jefferson Commemorative Gold Dollar PCGS MS62 |
$525 |
|
The first commemorative gold coins issued by the United States were issued for the Louisiana Purchase Exposition held in St. Louis. This example of the 1903 Thomas Jefferson Louisiana Purchase Expo Gold Commemorative Dollar has been graded MS62 by PCGS. This gold dollar has bright gold color with excellent original mint luster. The coin also has just a touch of toning along the rim. Several small marks and light hairlines are present, particularly in the fields, but the coin does appear to be an excellent example for the grade. |
