Here is an 1882-S Morgan Silver Dollar which has been graded MS65 by PCGS. This gem silver dollar has very strong cartwheel luster and fields that are fairly proof-like, though not proof-like enough to earn the designation from the grading service.. I have provided alternate photos of the coin taken under direct light in an attempt to better show the reflective fields. The well-struck coin is a light golden color on both sides and a bit better looking than your average MS65 Morgan Dollar. There are a few light hits in the fields, which show more on the proof-like fields than they otherwise would, and a couple of minor hits on Liberty’s cheek and chin. An overall wonderful gem Morgan Silver Dollar with lots of appeal. |
