1972 Canada Voyageur Silver Dollar PCGS SP68		SOLD

The 1972 Canada Voyageur Silver Dollar is composed of 50% fine silver with an actual silver weight of 0.375 ounces and features a proof-like finish. The obverse depicts a re-engraved version of the "Mature Head" Queen Elizabeth II which shows considerable detail. The reverse features a re-engraved version of traditional voyageur design of Canadian silver dollars with the Indian and the voyageur in the canoe. This example of the 1972 Canada Voyageur Silver Dollar has been graded SP68 by PCGS. The obverse of the coin shows some orange, pink and blue toning, particularly on the left side of the design. The reverse is mostly free of toning. A lightly toned high grade example of the date.
