Here is an 1881-CC Morgan Silver Dollar which has been graded MS66 by PCGS. The 1881-CC dollar is a relatively low mintage issue with only 296,000 examples struck. Of that total mintage, a low percentage have survived in the condition of the piece offered here. This coin has spectacular cartwheel mint luster on both sides with frosty devices. The coin is bright white and free of toning. A few small marks are present on each side, but none are major and the appearance is consistent with what one would expect on an MS66 graded Morgan Dollar. A magnificent high grade example of this low mintage Carson City silver dollar. |
