Here is an opportunity to obtain a full roll of twenty (20) 1885 Morgan Silver Dollars which have each been graded MS62 by ANACS and are encapsulated in the older small white ANACS holders from many years ago. Of the smaller white ANACS holders, these are the very early varieties with the two-letter and four-digit serial numbers. Although the serial numbers are not consecutive, it is probably that they were part of the same submission of a larger group of coins, possibly a full original bag of 1000 Morgan Dollars. The coins are all lustrous and many appear to be very strong for the grade, if not even better. Many of the coins also have some toning, some of which is very eye appealing. The reverse of several coins in particular have vibrant blue, red and orange toning along a good portion of the rims. I have taken close up shots of five of the coins in the group to give you a better idea of the quality of these coins. I know some of the nicer coins in the group that have more toning would sell quickly if sold individually, but I would like to try to keep this group together as the coins have been together in these holders for at least twenty years and have likely been together for another 100 years before that. A very cool “roll” of mint state Morgan Dollars in the early ANACS holders. |
