This 1859 O Seated Liberty Silver Dollar has been graded MS62+ by PCGS. A TrueView photo was taken by PCGS which captures the beauty of this coin in the best light.. This coin is bright white and free of toning. The coin also exhibits very strong original cartwheel luster that is much better than you would likely expect for the relatively low mint state grade. The grade of the coin was likely limited because of several small hits and marks scattered about the fields on both sides, but none are overly distracting. When viewing the coin in hand, the flash of coin and the luster really draw the eye more than any of the minor hits. Accordingly, this no motto Seated Dollar from the New Orleans Mint is a very strong example of the type, especially considering the grade.
Because of the difficulty in capturing the overall look of the coin in a single image, I have also included a short high-definition video of the coin towards the bottom of this listing in an attempt to give you a better idea of what this coin will look like in hand. Please note that you may need to adjust the video quality to 1080p and may need to increase the size of the video to full screen in order to see the coin in maximum detail.
