1943-D Mercury Dime NGC MS65FB GOLD CAC		SOLD

This 1943-D Mercury Dime has been graded MS65FB by NGC and is encapsulated in an older-style NGC "fatty" holder which is slightly thicker than the current NGC holders. The coin has also been certified by CAC as being solid for at least the next higher grade by the use of their seldom used gold label CAC sticker. The coin shows moderately colorful toning on both sides and has an excellent strike. This dime is also quite lustrous which really helps to enhance the colorful toning. Only a couple of tiny marks can be found after looking hard for them under magnification and the coin certainly appears to be better than the assigned grade as suggested by the gold CAC sticker. A really nice and eye appealing Mercury Dime in an older NGC holder and with the difficult to earn gold CAC sticker.
