Mintage of the 1909 Lincoln Cent commenced only a couple of weeks following the initial release of the 1909 V.D.B. Lincoln Cent as a result of the negative reaction to the designer’s initials featured on the reverse. The 1909 Lincoln Cent is still in high demand with collectors as a first year of issue in a very popular series. This 1909 Lincoln Cent has been graded MS66RB by PCGS. The coin has amazing overall eye appeal with tons of beautiful color on both sides. The obverse color is mostly vibrant pink and red, but some touches of green are also present. The reverse color is mostly a blue and green color that is more concentrated around the rim. The coin has excellent luster on both sides and is free of any major hits, marks or spotting.
