1884-CC Morgan Dollar PCGS MS64 GSA CAC |

Here is an 1884-CC Morgan Silver Dollar which has been graded MS64 by PCGS. The coin has also been certified by CAC as being solid for the assigned grade. The PCGS label indicates the coin was part of the GSA Hoard, but as you can see the coin was freed from the original GSA black holder and is now in a PCGS slab. The obverse of the coin is bright white and has strong mint luster. The reverse has spectacular toning which covers just over half of the surface with a mostly blue green color. A couple of marks in the obverse fields are likely what kept this coin from grading higher. A TrueView photo was taken by PCGS which captures the beauty of this coin in the best light. Overall, this is a neat Carson City Morgan Silver Dollar with interesting reverse toning. |
