1972 Type 1 Eisenhower Dollar PCGS MS65 CAC |
SOLD |
 |
There are three major reverse die varieties of 1972 copper-nickel clad Eisenhower Dollars. The primary pick up point for identifying each variety is the Earth above the eagle. On the Type 1 reverse, the island nations are shown to the south and east of Florida. This 1972 Type 1 Eisenhower Dollar has been graded MS65 by PCGS. The coin has also been certified by CAC as being solid for the assigned grade. The coin is untoned and a very nice gem example. Several light marks are scattered about, as one would expect on a large sized coin. Only a small hit near the third star on the reverse stands out from the others, but even then it is relatively minor. The plastic holder also has many light scratches which are exaggerated by the close up photos. A solid gem example of the Type 1 1972 Eisenhower Dollar. |
